It started with a
morning alarm.

“Good morning Pittsburgh!”

Watching Groundhog Day — that perfect morning radio wake-up. Synced to Phil's life, warm, personal. The hosts know what's happening, the weather, the vibe of the day. I thought: why doesn't this exist for real?

The reality check.

I set my alarm radio for 8AM. Woke up to a loud car insurance ad mid-sentence. Then a song I hate. Zero context, zero personalization. Same experience my parents had in the 90s. Nothing had changed.

Alarm radio
Station F, Paris

Built at Station F.

Moved into the world's largest startup campus to turn this into reality. Built the first version for myself — woke up, hit play, and by the time I left for work I already knew everything I needed.

Here's what I believe.

We spend half our waking lives staring at screens.
Still, we never feel caught up.

Every morning, the same ritual: open Twitter, check emails, scroll the news, glance at the calendar, check the weather, look up commute times. 12 apps before breakfast. And somehow you still miss the one thing that mattered.

Information shouldn't require this much effort.

What if all of that — your news, your schedule, your weather, your commute — became a single podcast? Two hosts, dynamic, like a real morning show. Made fresh for you every day.

10 minutes while you make coffee.
By the time you leave home, you're already ahead.
No scrolling. No screen time. No effort.

That's Lucend.

Not another notification. Not another feed.
Audio that exists because you do.
Content that actually knows you. Made just for you.

Walk your dog. Hit the gym. Make your tartines.
While Lucend keeps you ahead.

This is radio made for you.
I hope you love it as much as I do.
